This 250-ton rotor has just delivered to the jobsite late -- as requested by our customer! Due to recent heavy rains, there were issues with our customer’s tracks so last-minute repairs had to be completed. SRT coordinated with the railroads involved to delay the movement and hired security to monitor the shipment while it spent extra time in the rail yards. This heavy rotor was discharged to a 12-axle railcar by an ocean vessel under the direction of our Field Supervisor Bruce Sebesta, who also made sure the securements matched the engineered plan designed by SRT.
